Fuerteventura is more than just a sunny Spanish island. It is a UNESCO-recognised Biosphere Reserve, a territory of ochre dunes, rust-coloured volcanoes and impossibly blue waters, within sight of the Moroccan coast. It is in this mineral, light-filled landscape, close to the protected Corralejo dune park, that the Ôclub Select HD Lobos Natura has made its home. The moment the warm, faintly salty air wraps around you as you step off the transfer, you know this trip will be defined by light.
Arrival
The hotel greets guests with architecture in natural, luminous tones that echo the island's palette of pale beige, white and touches of greenery. The 260 rooms and suites span several categories, all fitted with a furnished terrace or balcony, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV with Chromecast, a minibar, a kettle and a bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Nothing extravagant, but a pleasant decorative consistency and solid comfort throughout.
The 42 m² Junior Suite Terrace is the entry point, comfortably accommodating two adults and one child over 16. For guests who want a direct relationship with the water, the 40 m² Junior Suite Swimup EMBLEM offers a private pool access straight from the terrace. The upper tier includes the 64 m² Premium Suite with a lounge area and sofa bed, the Premium Suite EMBLEM with an additional kitchenette, and the 66 m² Premium Kid Suite fitted with a gaming console. The standout option is the 84 m² Premium Kid Pool View Suite, which adds a private hot tub. Junior Suites are adult-only, reserved for guests aged 16 and over.
Dining, all included
The heart of the dining experience is the main restaurant El Puertito, where breakfast, lunch and dinner are served as generous buffets. Live show-cooking stations bring the kitchen to life and let guests watch the teams at work, with Canarian specialities sitting alongside international dishes. A selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages is included in the all-inclusive formula.
For a sweet break during the day, the El Faro bar serves coffee, ice cream and pastries. A notable perk for stays of more than five nights: one dinner at the Italian restaurant La Caldera is included, excluding beverages. The menu steps away from the buffet format, served in a setting described as chic and bohemian. In the adults-only area, the Mirador Jazz & Blues Coffee Shop offers drinks alongside a live music programme.
Some food and beverage outlets operate on a surcharge basis: the lobby bar El Mirador serves cocktails, tea and coffee throughout the day; Bar O2 Surf & E-Sport leans into a sports-bar atmosphere with fresh beers; and the Organic Adults In Pool Bar, in the adult zone, will allow guests to order directly from the pool from 14 December 2025 onwards. We recommend verifying the exact all-inclusive inclusions directly with the hotel, as they may vary by period and room type.
Days by the water
Six outdoor pools shape the rhythm of the day: five freshwater and one saltwater, surrounded by a solarium equipped with sun loungers and parasols. The dedicated adult-only pool ensures a quieter atmosphere for guests wishing to step away from the family activity zone. Wellness seekers can look forward to the HD Essentia Wellness Spa, which will offer body and facial treatments as well as massages, though it is scheduled to open on 1 February 2026 and treatments are available at an additional cost.
On the activity front, yoga and Pilates classes are offered on site. A multi-sport court for basketball and football, along with a fitness room, will open on 14 December 2025. The beach at Playa del Medio is roughly 750 metres away on foot, and the Corralejo dune nature park lies about 5 kilometres from the hotel, perfect for an excursion into one of the most spectacular protected landscapes in the archipelago.
Evening vibes
As the Atlantic sun dips, the hotel shifts tone. The Mirador Jazz & Blues Coffee Shop, reserved for adults, sets an intimate mood with its live music programme, ideal for a relaxed evening drink. The Bar O2 Surf & E-Sport takes a more laid-back approach, centred on sport screenings and convivial atmosphere. Once a week, the Ômini Club organises a mini-disco evening for the youngest guests, which naturally grants parents a few extra hours of peace.
Who is it for?
The Ôclub Select HD Lobos Natura is thoughtfully designed for two distinct profiles that coexist without friction. Families with children aged 4 to 12 will find real substance in the Ômini Club: open six days a week throughout the season, with a dedicated French-speaking team during French school holidays. The Premium Kid Suites with gaming consoles, and the Kid Pool View Suite with a hot tub, directly address families looking for enhanced comfort.
Couples and adult travellers have their own distinct world: an adults-only zone with a dedicated pool, Junior Suites accessible from age 16 only, a live-music Coffee Shop and, soon, the Organic Adults In Pool Bar. This is not a hotel for guests seeking non-stop entertainment, but for those who value a balance between comfort, accessible dining and aquatic leisure in a remarkable natural setting.
