Heraklion International Airport Nikos-Kazantzakis lies approximately 20 kilometers away. You drive through the Cretan hinterland, olive-covered hills, before descending toward the coast. Silva Beach materializes suddenly, a contemporary building dominating the bay.
Your 312 rooms await, decorated in a soothing palette. Standard doubles offer 23 m² with furnished balconies or terraces. One-bedroom suites (39 m²) accommodate three adults or two adults with two children. Family annexe rooms follow the same dimensions. Every space breathes: individually adjustable air conditioning, wifi connection, Italian shower, 32-inch flat screen. Some rooms are wheelchair-accessible upon request.

The all-inclusive formula at Silva Beach covers three restaurants and three bars. Minoan, the main restaurant, invites you to three daily buffets. Breakfast and lunch feature international cuisine. At dinner, the buffet expands to include Greek, Italian, international, and Asian specialties. Flavors rotate regularly, ensuring no two meals are identical.
Crave intimacy or specific flavors? Prime Burger, an à la carte American restaurant, offers a selection of hamburgers (reservation recommended). At La Strada, the Italian establishment, you savor fresh pasta, pizzas, and Alpine specialties. Asian Corner Buffet Restaurant rounds out the offer with a dedicated Asian buffet.
At the Romantic Pool Bar, the Aqua Beach Bar (seasonal), or the Ariane Lobby Bar, you refresh yourself throughout the day. Soft drinks, ice creams, and cocktails flow from 10am to 11pm. Afternoon tea from 4pm to 6pm offers tea, coffee, cakes, biscuits, and mini sandwiches. Meals include draught beer, house wine, non-alcoholic beverages, sparkling water, tea, and filter coffee in self-service. Cocktails feature local spirits (ouzo, retsina, local rum) or international ones (whisky, gin, vodka, tequila). Grilled items and snacks are served between 11am and 12:30pm.

Days by the water
Silva Beach boasts a rare asset: two distinct outdoor pools. One features freshwater, the other seawater. Sun loungers and parasols await you, along with pool towels. A dedicated children's pool is also available. You then head down to the immediate beaches. Three beaches border the property: Glaros at 150 meters, Golden Beach at 150 meters, Star Beach at 500 meters. Pebbles, sand, and rocks intersperse with tiny coves. Loungers and parasols line the shoreline. Beach towels are provided.
Sports are readily accessible. Gym equipped with two treadmills, one stationary bike, and one hand bike. Beach volleyball, water polo, tennis, volleyball, table tennis, darts, and pétanque. Billiards and tennis equipment rental incur additional fees. Nearby water activities likely include windsurfing, jet skiing, and snorkeling, to be confirmed directly with the hotel.
A spa and wellness area completes the offer. Sauna, hot tub, hammam, hand and foot treatments, massages. These treatments are additional paid services. The team also organizes light animation programs during day and evening, with French-speaking staff.

Evenings revolve around the three restaurants. Choose between the Minoan buffet with rotating cuisines, or the conviviality of à la carte dining at Prime Burger and La Strada. Light daytime animation gives way to ambient shows. French is spoken during these moments, making interactions natural.
Bars welcome you afterward. The Ariane Lobby Bar becomes the evening hub. Cocktails crafted with local spirits transport the Mediterranean into your glass. You might also enjoy a nocturnal stroll to Limenas Hersonissou, the small harbor 700 meters away, or explore the resort's shops and nightclub (easily accessed via car rental available at reception).
