Arrival

The transfer from Bodrum-Milas Airport, 47 km away, is included in the JustRelax package. You board the bus, watch the golden, arid landscape of the Bodrum peninsula roll past, and arrive in Ortakent 45 minutes to an hour later. Check-in is handled efficiently, and a French-speaking representative on site organises an information meeting during the first days of your stay, a genuinely useful session to get your bearings on how the hotel works and what the area has to offer. The standard room covers 19 m², a fair size for a seaside 4-star. It comes with a balcony, individual split air conditioning, a parquet floor, satellite TV, an empty mini fridge and a shower room with a hairdryer. A tea and coffee set is provided. The safe is available at an extra charge. Triple and quadruple rooms are arranged with a double bed or two twin beds plus one or two fold-out sofa or sofa-bed supplements. It is not the presidential suite, but it is clean, functional, and the balcony is enough to change the mood from the first morning coffee onwards.

Dining, all included

The all-inclusive package at Petunya Beach covers all meals at the main restaurant, served as a buffet indoors and on the terrace. Breakfast runs from 7am to 10am, with a late breakfast service until 10:30am. Lunch is served from 12:30pm to 2pm, preceded by a snack service from noon to 4pm at the Snack Restaurant. Between 5pm and 6pm, the Terrace Café offers cakes and biscuits to bridge the gap to dinner, which is served from 7pm to 9pm. For night owls, a late-night soup service runs from midnight to 12:30am. Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included in the all-inclusive formula from 10am to 11pm. The Pool Bar and Lobby Bar operate on the same schedule. The Restaurant Bar is open during meal times. After 11pm and until 2am, the Pool Bar stays open but drinks become chargeable. Days by the water

The private beach is the hotel's standout asset: sand and pebbles, with sun loungers, parasols and mattresses set out along the waterfront. Direct access to the clear, shallow Aegean waters off Ortakent makes all the difference. Beach towel changes are chargeable, and towels are issued against a deposit at reception. On the pool side, the complex has a main pool of 200 m² and a second pool fitted with two water slides, ideal for keeping younger guests entertained in the afternoon. A children's paddling pool of 10 m² rounds out the aquatic options. Daytime entertainment is low-key, with table tennis and darts available on site. Water sports are accessible at the beach at an extra charge. The Mini Club looks after the kids, while the spa centre, featuring a Turkish bath, sauna, massages and a beauty area, is available at an additional cost.

Evening vibes

After dinner, the Lobby Bar and Pool Bar provide a natural transition into the evening, with local drinks included until 11pm. The gentle daytime animation gives way to a relaxed holiday atmosphere: this is the Bodrum peninsula, not a nightclub strip, and that is precisely the point. For those who want to extend the evening at the Pool Bar beyond 11pm, drinks are chargeable until 2am.

Who is it for?

The Petunya Beach works very well for families with children, thanks to the Mini Club, the slide pool and the beach right outside the door. Couples and seniors looking for a pleasant seaside setting, a solid all-inclusive and a convenient location 11 km from Bodrum will also find it suits their needs. It is not a hotel for those seeking intense nightlife or sophisticated à la carte dining, but it is a well-run, recently renovated property where holidays unfold without unpleasant surprises.
