Arrival
You arrive along a coastal road hugging the southern shore, where the wind shapes the dunes and the light takes on that golden hue unique to the Canary Islands. The hotel spreads across a tree-lined park, which contrasts pleasantly with the island's otherwise sparse vegetation. Its 634 renovated rooms are distributed across several buildings, all connected by shaded paths.
Standard rooms, around 38 m², come with a terrace or balcony, air conditioning, a ceiling fan, WiFi, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a mini fridge stocked with water and soft drinks on arrival, and a safe. The bathroom includes a shower and hairdryer. Sea view rooms are worth requesting for the view at sunrise. Standard rooms sleep up to three adults or two adults and one child, with the option to add a child's bed.
For families, the 41 m² Family Room includes a sofa bed and sleeps two adults and two children. It features exactly the same amenities as the Standard Room in a slightly more generous space. Note that no additional child bed can be added: the room is configured for four people, no more. Dining, all included
The main restaurant is called Magico, and it delivers on breadth: full buffets at breakfast, lunch and dinner, with hot and cold dishes, show cooking and daily menus drawing on local Canarian and international cuisine. This is where most meals take place, in a lively atmosphere reflecting the mix of nationalities at the resort.
The real highlight of the all-inclusive formula is access once a week, by prior reservation and subject to availability, to the four speciality restaurants: La Bodega for local Canarian cuisine, The Flavour for international fare, the Trattoria for Italian food, and Fish & Grill for the catch of the day, seafood and grilled meats. Beyond that one included weekly dinner, these restaurants are available at an extra charge. Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are included around the clock. Beer, house wine, coffee, tea and soft drinks accompany the main buffet meals. International beverages, wines from the speciality restaurant wine lists and access to the Premium Sports Bar are charged as extras.
Five bars are available throughout the hotel. Among them, the Wunderbar operates 24 hours a day, serving drinks, snacks, coffee and pastries. A reassuring option for late-night hunger or early risers heading out on an excursion. We invite you to verify the all-inclusive details directly on the Magic Life website, as inclusions may vary depending on the period and room type booked.
Days by the water
Six outdoor pools structure the heart of the resort: a semi-Olympic pool, a relaxation pool, an activities pool, an adults-only pool, a children's pool and a Lago pool. All are equipped with pergolas and sunloungers, with pool and beach towels provided. The sandy beach is directly accessible from the hotel via steps, approximately 100 metres away. Beach volleyball and water polo bring energy to both the pools and the shoreline.
On the sports and wellness front, the daily programme is extensive: aerobics, fitness, Zumba, yoga, Pilates, dance classes, pétanque, table tennis, archery and darts are all available as part of the animation schedule. A gym is on site, along with two tennis courts and an outdoor football pitch. Billiards is available at an extra charge.
Children aged 3 to 12 have their own dedicated space in the Mini Club, offering international animation programmes and an aquatic play area called Splash. Ideal for keeping younger guests entertained while parents enjoy the adults pool. The Spa, reserved for guests aged 18 and over, features a Finnish sauna, steam room and a hydromassage pool. Massages and beauty treatments are available at an extra charge, as is the integrated naturist area.
Evening vibes
As the sun sets, the entertainment programme takes over from the day's sports activities. Live concerts, shows, tournaments, Olympics-style competitions, contests, themed evenings, karaoke and live music fill the resort's evenings. The programme runs in both international and French-speaking formats, which makes a real difference for francophone guests who want to follow along and participate without any language barrier.
The Wunderbar keeps things going until late, with its included drinks and snacks. For those looking to extend the sporty atmosphere, the Premium Sports Bar lets you catch live events, available as an extra on top of the standard formula.
Who is it for?
The Magic Life Fuerteventura is first and foremost a strong match for families with children, thanks to the Mini Club, the dedicated children's pool, the well-designed Family Rooms and the French-language animation programme. Couples will find their place in the adults-only pool, the spa and the speciality restaurants in the evening. Seniors will appreciate the wide range of gentle activities, from yoga and Pilates to pétanque, as well as the beach being just steps away with no transport required.
One important caveat: the hotel is not accessible to guests with reduced mobility. This must be checked before booking if it concerns any member of your party. Also note that Fuerteventura Airport is approximately 90 kilometres away, meaning a transfer of around one hour each way to factor into your journey. ✨
The cherry on top
The standout detail: the animation programme runs explicitly in French as well as internationally, both during the day and in the evening. This is far from standard across Canary Islands resorts, and it makes a genuine difference to the daily experience for French-speaking guests.
